Make a Difference

Since 1884, the Toledo Humane Society has been the leading advocate for animal welfare in Toledo and beyond. Your support, along with the support of others in the community, allows us to continue providing medical care, investigating animal cruelty, rescuing and caring for more than 5,000 animals each year.

The Toledo Humane Society is a 501 (c)3 non-profit that receives no federal, state or local tax dollars. We have a four-star rating from Charity Navigator and are accredited through the Better Business Bureau’s Charity Rating. We are not affiliated with HSUS or the ASPCA.

Vehicle Donations

Donating a vehicle is a great way to support the Toledo Humane Society. Your used vehicle can help homeless and abused animals find a better future. When you donate a used vehicle it's just like making a cash contribution and you can receive a tax deduction for your gift. Even the oldest and most beat-up vehicles are accepted and can be put to good use.

Photo Tiles

A photo tile can be the perfect way to freeze a moment in time! Become a part of the Toledo Humane Society’s history by hanging a photo tile right in the entry way of our shelter. Honor and memorialize a family member, even if he or she has 4 legs. Our photo tiles are a unique and individualized way to remember a special occasion, a pet or person you’ve lost, and they make a great gift idea too.

For more information on our special photo tiles, please contact Julianne Warr, Development Specialist, at jwarr@toledohumane.org or click on the link below.
